poll: games that were so good you purchased more than 1 copy
I was just wondering if anybody out there was like me: if i lose my copy of a particularly good game (or the copy protection,) i wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
the poll lists the games i have bought more than one of. feel free to list others.

Civ II (v 1.07, 2.42, MGE)
Pool of Radiance series (got a couple individually, got the whole series too)
Warcraft II (although didn't realize the first one i got on sale at the time wasn't the whole game, more of a demo)
there may be a couple others, if you count buying something, and my brother buying something, and having them both in the same house, but not sure which ones atm

I have to admit buying Civ 1 FOUR times. Once when it was new, once when those floppys stopped working, once when I started college and needed some cheap entertainment and once again at college after some jerk spilt beer over the disks. Beat that.

I bought HOMM2 twice. Once as a stand alone, and once in the HOMM1-3 collection.
I also bought Myst twice after cracking the first disk.

No, no I have not.
But then I took paranoid-level care of the games I did have.

I was sent two free copies of Civ2:ToT by Microprose.
I bought Warlords Battlecry II and then won a free copy in a wallpaper-making contest.

if a game was that good, I would never lose a copy!! That is heresy.
I guard them like I guard my soul.

I don't think I have ever been clumsy enough to break one of my games and have to replace it.

software, yes...internet, no.
we had a few progs but the newer games had better protection, and the doc based protection kinda made it moot. i think i had a couple of paranoid games that had both.
my friend had a card that could break copy protection. he's so cheap i bet he still has it.

Bought the various civ incarnations, though I'm still mystified as to why test of time was ever made

I fart (note the present tense) on game companies that put various sorts of inane copy protection schemes on games (this crap is still going on). These blockheaded schemes only bother legit users while not hindering pros at all.
I let the pros handle the situation

I rebought lots of games on CD and in windows compatible versions. Others I've bought because the original has been lent out and not returned. Too many to mention but Civ1-2, MOO1-2 and Ultima 1-7 all feature.

You are not alone my friend. The only difference is that my dad trashed my magic cards worth at least 300 us dollars.
Ok, i admit that i played the burn versions of HoMM 2&3 that my friend game it to me, but when i started to work, i purchased HoMM millenium edition, plantium edition, and of course, HoMM4 in first week that it was released.
