I had to find this thread by clicking on my profile and searching for my old posts.... wonder why it has gone stealth?
Anyways, still have not heard anything from MZ about a resend.
I tried to load the saves again today - in the unpatched PtW, in 1.14 and in 1.21. None worked, although in 1.14 I was getting some intersting error messages and had my computer restart once..... I wonder if MZ has a virus and it attached itself to one of the files. I did a virus scan on them and came up negative, but I get paranoid about these things.
Sorry guys, don't know what to do.

I had some difficulties going back to 1.14 since I had deleted my dual boot setup a few weeks ago, I have replayed the saves as 1.14 and sent them to GodKing, and I hope they finally work.
