OK. Hope those corrupt bastard cities work out for you. I was planning on disbanding them anyways. I will be leaving on vacation in a week. So I might pester you a bit more GF.

The game has been sent to MZ.
Sorry for not being able to play it sooner. I wasn't aware that I couldn't play the save with Conquests, since it was advertised as containing PTW. So I had to get ahold of a new PTW disk, so that I could play the save again.

why didn't you play from the C3C ptw.exe file instead of the conquests.exe?

The Conquests CD wouldn't open the ptw exe file, said it needed the PTW disk.

I remember reading that the solution is...
Uninstall PTW
Reinstall C3C
Now C3C will accept its own disk for PTW
But then, C3C is still not available in Oz, so I have no idea.

er, um, my fault I think.
I was gone on vacation most of November. Just looked it up and MZ sent me the save on the 16th (2.5 weeks ago). Just got back, and my home computer is on the fritz - cannot load PTW. I think it probably has to do with all the C3C beta stuff - but as I haven't picked up the retail version of C3C yet.
Just let me know what you want to do - either kill the game, start over with C3C, or continue. If continue, I will probably not play this turn (pass and ask GF to do so for me) while I fix PtW.

I'd like to play in a Conquests PBEM with this gang, if anyone else is interested.
Too bad we couldn't finish this one, I had a perfect start.

Here's the Order of Play and those who have expressed an interest to restart in Conquests:
PERSIA (GhengisFarb) - YES
MONGOLIA (UnOrthOdOx) - YES
FRANCE (Hot_Enamel) - YES
ARABIA (Panzer32)
AZTECS (Aggie)
CELTS (Micaelis Rex) - YES
GERMANY (MasterZen)
AMERICA (GodKing) - YES
What about Hidden Nationality units? Does anyone want to switch civs? I was thinking it would be kind of neat to use the Age of Discovery thing where you haul treasure (we could name it loot) to your Palace but have it on a random map and have to search for the resources.
Maybe make the Victory Points needed to win astronomically high so that loot just gives you a burst of gold for rushing things. But you could still ambush each other and steal their loot.

Im fine with Mongolia still.
I like the idea of loot, can it be done on a random map?
I think we still need hidden nat units too...and for the theme of shipping loot, let's get pirates with some teeth with the ManOWars...

I had a random civ last time. Whatever is still good by me, although seafairing would be nice....
I will not get my c3c disk for a while as I am waiting for the free disks for working on the beta still... should be in the next 2 weeks or so I think.

I would like to start a C3C game between us and ND.
Perhaps those who aren't in this PBEM being set up (me, panzer and Aggie) can hook up with Zayxus and say, Darekill from ND.
To be honest I've had TERRIBLE experience with PBEMs with more than 5 players so I will respectfully decine if more people than this number are involved.

Since GodKing won't be available right away I was thinking half of us could start one next week and the other half could start one later.

Alright, after much hairpulling I have a scenario made that allows everyone to build Gold Mines, Silver Mines, and Gem Mines. With the same cost and stats of the ones in the Age of Discovery scenario. They give you 200 gold when you bring them to your capital and you can't build mines until you've discovered Construction.
Gems, Gold, and Silver are Strategic Resources and the new Lux (replacing Gems) is Sugar.
If anybody wants to play it to try it out let me know and I'll send it to you.

I renamed Cutthroats to Pillage&Burn and finally got it uploaded.
But I would just as soon play a straight vanilla version of Conquests for this pbem.
