i DID buy the disk

and the CIV3 disk

and the CIV2 disk (twice)

and the CIV1 floppy disks (amiga)

i will post a photo of my disk if you like

the reason why i want a no cd version is that i play combat mission 2 PBEM WHILE playing CIV3 (when a turn arrives i quit civ3, play the CM2 turn mail it then return to CIV3

this involves a whole world of disk swapping

i really dont think it is unreasonable to want a no cd version

QUACK! QUACK!

Should've said that in your first post...

Unfortunately, my little tiny brain doesn't know about no-cd things - I barely know disk-swapping! (But I do know PBEM now that I've read the FAQ thread here...)

While from your statements you indeed don't sound like a pirate...

Unless the no cd crack is sanctioned by the publishers of the game, it is still considered an illegal use of software. And since Apolyton does not condone or support the illegal use of software, please find another site for this discussion.
