Cargo helicopters mod
A while a go, someone posted a question about how to load tanks onto helicopters. I can't remember who posted the scripting, but it can be done. I think it had something to do with changing a file to read medium or something like that
At any rate, would someone remember how to do it? Also, could I make this change so that I can to it in a game that I'm presently running?

Its called "Fix Mod" carnt remember who its by off the top of my head, but ill have a look around for it for you.

OK Aias i have had a look round and you can find the fix Mod here

Its got a few things it fixs (read the readme file for more info about the mod) - and Im pretty sure it will work with your current game

Glen,
While I certainly appreciate the time you spent looking for the mod, that's not quite what I meant. It was a SLIC string that modified just that one thing, the cargo chopper. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough about that.
Anyone else know what I'm talking about? I think it might have been posted by Locutus or IM.

ahhh ok, i understand, but i have no idea, as you may expect, what the answer is, as i have just printed the whole SLIC help section from this website - should be a good read for tonight.

I think it was Martin. eh... anyway, my game allows that already, so I'm not sure which entry precisely needs changing, I imagine it's the tank.
In units.txt, locate the UNIT_CARGO_HELICOPTER entry, and ensure that the line CanCarry: SmallLand is present near the bottom somewhere. Then find the UNIT_TANK entry, and make sure the line that begins Size: reads Size: Small, rather than med or large, or whatever it might be. Now your cargo copters should be able to load tanks.
Since all boats can carry both medium land units and small land units, it shouldn't affect anything else.

It's from Hex's Modder's Notes (can't remember who RJG is). It will prevent Cargo Helicopters from carrying tanks if that's what you're after. If you can't load tanks into copters and you want to do this, find the XXX_units.txt of the Mod you're using and it should say 'Size:Medium' for Tanks. Change it back to 'Small'.

Yes it can be done during your current game. It is just not advicable to add an additional unit or wonder, tile improvment, pop or what ever.
