The Hulk
So who's the best Hulk.
I think the new one sucks from what I've seen. No one could be better than Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. Long live the 70s.

I read an article in the entertainment section of the newspaper today about this very topic. From what I have seen I'll have to agree with you. I'll reserve final judgment after I have seen the movie but the CGI Hulk just doesn't look right to me.
I think I read somewhere that the Hulk grows to different heights depending on how angry he gets. For the comic experts here, Is this BS? I'm not really familiar with the comic Hulk never having read them. All I know is from the 70's TV series.

Just seeing the trailers for it in the movie theater have convinced me that I have NO interest in seeing it.
And I'm a hard core comic fan, and haven't missed any of the Marvel movies yet.

When a guy with green body paint(Ferrigno) looks more believable, the choice is obvious.
Plus, the TV series had that haunting song played on the piano at the end.
Anyone know what that song is?

According to rotten tomatoes.com, it is pretty good:
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/TheHulk-1123219/
They say you can't trust critics, but if you combine them all, I believe you end up with an accurate picture. I kinda like how they aren't making this ALL action, but adding some psychological drama aspects into the story. Sounds neat .

Would someone who didn't like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" please give an opinion of the Hulk movie? I normally go to all the comic-book adaptation flicks, but I'm leery of getting another Ang Lee yawnfest for my money.

I'm someone who didn't like "Crouching Tiger..." and I thought the Hulk was quite good, not as good as Spiderman or X-2, but better than Daredevil or the first X-Men.
My thoughts?

I used to rely on rottentomatoes a lot, but lately I've noticed that they are increasingly bringing in crap interviews from dinky little web pages, and it seems to be throwing off the averages. For instance, "Identity" got about a 65%. This is atrociously off kilter, as Identity was HORRIBLE. It had about every cliche you could imagine, bad acting, bad directing, worse writing and was so predictable that I was stunned.

Good point Boris, I agree that Identity was amongst the worst films in years. On Rotten Tomatoes you can look at the "Cream of the Crop" review average, if you want to see what the more established critics think of a film.

Lou Ferigno of course
I'm starting to get annoyed by CGI effects. Spiderman looked too fake, and now the hulk looks too fake. Too cartoony
I actually think the effects looked better when they use miniatures and such.
