only a true englishman would refer to him as "Biggles" looking.
It's the Gyro captain from the MadMax films. I've seen the films dozens of times and the character has grown on me. Thunderdome is my favourite although most people I speak to seem to like the first one the most.
Apparently though the actor, Bruce Spence, plays some form of Sauron in the ROFTK EE.

The Mouth of Sauron? Excellent, if true.

To those well-fed guys: I recieved the save this morning but due to some mishap I'm unable to get to it. I don't know if the mail itself is screwed up, or if the error is on my end.
Haven't heard from my team-mates yet so I don't know if they've got the same problem.
Please resend

LL, or you sure that save was sent? It usually arrives before the message on the turn thread.

LL, it's been an hour and still no sign of the save. Could the pigeon have dropped it in the sea on the way over?

While sitting high on top of the tree canopy, team monkey notices smoke from a far and distant land, beyond the great ocean that we dare not travel.
Could it be a bush fire ?
Or could it be war ? Perhaps two human barbarian tribes fighting for dominance.
Kiwi Fruit anyone ??

We discovered sliced bread(tm) some time ago and we have just completed our first actual bread. We are currently discussing wether to start slicing it from the left or right end. Such an important decision cannot be made unless all members have their say.

Tabemono should be done the turn tonight - sorry for the delay , but several of our members were unavailable due to committments re Valentines no doubt - the failure to heed the wishes of their SOs would undoubtedly lead to a brief though painful hospital stay .... or worse

I got the turn, but since this is the last turn I play (retiring from office and from demogaming as a whole), it will last a bit longer than usual, for I will leave a few recommendations for my successor, what may take some time. I will play this evening (~12 hours from now). Thanks for patience.

Makes perfect sense. It does amuse me that it took CoD three turns to notice it, though.
We're off in obscure comedy land.

Store food? How can that be - I thought we ate it too quickly to store it. So we were planning on using it as an extra large dining hall...?

I think it probably is more of a Dining Hall... it's more efficient to feed larger groups after all.
How can we not know, you ask? Well, it's the strangest thing... entering the Great Pyramids is like blacking out. One moment you're stepping in, the next moment you're stepping out feeling stuffed; no one has yet remembered anything of what goes on inside the Pyramids. Even the construction workers who built the darn things can't tell us what they do. Perhaps they're inhabited by the legendary sorceror-chefs...
