Drawing a Little - Apolyton version
Hello there, Apolyton guys.
I've registered here a long time ago, but never really became a user of the site, and in fact I have been posting only the CFC since I decided to join the CIV international communities.
Anyway, it's been a while that I'm thinking of expanding my attention here to apolyton, somewhere I have been told me to be a substantially different experience from that of the CFC.
In an effort of doing so, I decided to begin by reproducing one of the most fun threads I had participated there - the "drawing a little" thread of the OT forum. Also, it's now in the middle of the second edition, and it prety much exausted the drawing talent over there - very few new people posting - so I'd like to check the skills of the guys in here.
The first one I'll post here is the same I posted there, as it has a CIV theme, what should appeal to people in here too.
Anyway, guys, show us all your talents.
I hope this is, for me, the begining of a long stay in this fine community.
Regards .

While at that, I'll add a little more to encourage other posters (and as I already have dozens uploaded anyway):
Another CIV-related, this one done in the windows paint:
And a few comic books art:

WOW...
No one can draw?
I got such a great response for this thread in CFC, so many people who did draw - one guy even professionally - and, being poly bigger than CFC, I really imagined that lots of Artists would show up and post.
Guys, anything you guys can make visually is fair game, I mean, 3d art is fine as well.
Regards .

Nah, the only one done in paint is that infantry/infantry fight. The others were drawn by hand and scanned.
I do have another one drawn in the paint, but I don't know if I have already uploaded it. I'll try to find and post in here...

Hehehehe. I still have enough drawings to keep this thread in the 1th page for a while, but if no one else posts here, this wil become one really egocentric thread...
anyway, let's push it up to the viewers:

Well, it's supposed to be a Celt. Not very well researched though. A product of a math class and some polishing when I found it half a year later

Ugh. Now you got me all motivated to put that dang floppy drive in so I can scan stuff on the old pc and put them here. BTW, very nice stuff Fred although some of your interpretation is slightly... Weird... But I can't elaborate more than that due to lack of understanding. Very nice technique tho

Oh and babes is armoured brassieres annoy me to no end... I shall draw a woman in decently practical armour and a sword they could possibly lift one day. Maybe even soon enough to post here.

The soldier paint one looks like the animators of the Simpsons finally decided to destroy Springfield. It just has a simpsony feel to it, probably because of the yellow skin. Nice stuff.
I've done a few paintings, but I'm gonna say it's the lack of a scanner that stops me from posting them...

So if he registered a long time ago, then this account is a dl then?
We have numerous artists, it's just that they draw civ units instead of pictures like yours.

Hello Fred. Nice pics.
Regrettably I have no drawing skill, as I picked up a soldering gun by the wrong end aged 3. As a result I can't hold anything steady in my right hand, so my drawing is truly terrible.
However, my soldering skills are pretty damn hot.
