DM Poll - Next City Site
OK - settler up in one turn. Depending on the SMC's demands for the Iroq war, it may be the last for awhile.
So - where do our intrepid homesteaders go:
1. The desert tile mid-way between Larvik (ex-Aydin) and dejon's March of Death. Fills the territory out nicely, has access to the wheat stalk, gives us another coastal town, and should have OK shield production with the hills around it. Also a good gateway city to the penisula to the south (yet to be explored).
(btw - the DM's choice, )
2. The opposite side of the lake from Warrior's luck. (n-n from Warrior's luck). It is on the lake, has an enhanced tile close by. will claim all the currently neutral tiles, and will give us an OK jumping off spot to Iroq land.
3. A site north of Reykjavik. If you move from OPD's Lunch, say ne-ne-n as one choice, or another hop ne to the hill as a second choice. Claims a lot of land - and is another good stepping off city for attacking the Iroq. Will be the most corrupt of the three discussed. Will have to have some forest cleared as well.
4. The DM - heck, in fact the entire leadership for this term are out of their minds. Don't they see that the best site is __________. (please fill in the blank)

I believe we can. IIRC, the AI will only build cities on sites that are seperated from neighboring cities by at least two tiles, so if we can get units on both light and dark green locations, the AI won't build anything there.

Thanks for the map, voting Red.
The other two sites have two cities with fresh water access nearby, while the red site only has one of it's neighbors with fresh water access and more over that patern contains a lot of 0 shield production tiles prior to Offshore Oil Platforms making overlap more desirable.
