the fact that I don't think socialism would work. Ideally I would like to be a socialist- but I know it can't work.

I'll add to the chorus. Libertarianism is evil. Capitalism isn't. But you should become a socialist anyway, as that ideology can coexist with capitalism, as it does in Europe.
