I just a have an urge to write a nuclear/planet buster explosion with the terror and anxiety that it creates. I once considered writing a story of how the people reacted to a nuclear blast during medieval times.

It's your own fault, Kody, by creating the industry game.
But I've been thinking about it for several days now. Just didn't have time to write out anything yet.

Well the problem is our characters are not together to establish an environment where we constantly provide feedback to each other. How about we create a new story where this time our characters are in a group. My suggestion would be that we play as investigative police discovering and tracking down subversive infiltration. Something we can work together, but each of us have personal opinions, especially when the job starts getting dirty. Are you guys up for that?

Why am I missing a square? since we began at turn 0? I am now confused. By now at turn 6 I should have 7 squares.

It is impossible to have 7 pieces in at the start of turn 5.
you can only have 5 pieces at the start of turn five assuming you add one piece each time.
I'm still waiting for turn 5 to be completed. It's just that I've updated everything, except your (vev's) previous details, for turn 6.

You forget that production is calculated at the start of the turn.
So you only count squares that are there before you place your square for that turn. So in turn 5 assuming you have placed one per turn you have placed 5 squares.
We are currently working on your turn 5, even though I've updated to turn 6. I updated before I realised the really bad mistakes you made in your post.
