Question about choosing nations for Quick Battle
I notice that as the human player, whichever nation I choose to play (including Random), Computer Player #1 will always be assigned the same choice - and vice versa. Choosing the Comp. #1 player's nation sets the human's nation. Bug? Or something in the config. I am missing?

I use 3 random AI opponents a lot after chosing my own nation. Sometimes one of the AI is the same as me and sometimes they are all different.

They are almost always different to my nation. Maybe something is up with your settings?

Is there a way to change the random seed? That might fix it.

I think you have it set on Cooperative mode, in which the computer player will help you. Have you noticed units moving of their own accord and techs being researched without your autherization? :P

I've noticed this type of bug too. I notice that if you change your color, your nation changes too. And it is the same as a computer. It's weird.

Sava, you also are playing cooperative mode. In the "teams and allies" section there are a few named "cooperative teams" or "cooperative survival of the fittest" etc.
If you choose this mode, then you and another player can both control the same nation. Whichever players have the same color will be playing the same nation. Maybe one works on economy while the other pumps military or whatever.
This automatically switches the nation because you both have to be playing the same one. It's not a bug, it's a feature :P

I am definitely not using cooperative mode, but still get identical nations once in awhile, each with different colors than my own. However, I like playing with the color blue. Other than that all settings are the default.
