That's where most of the people in chemistry end up.
I'd LOVE to work on an actualy ship. but just "in the navy"? all that means that it will be a naval fuel dump, or whatever.

Where my life is now:
Entering my third year of Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering, working 2 jobs (programmer & receptionist) in the summer, and in a relationship.
Where it is going depends on many things:
I'm applying for 12-16month internships after my third year. If a good job offer comes in, I'll take it and work for 12-16 months getting work experience & money. At that point I'd continue getting my degree.
If there is no good job offers, I'll go right back for my fourth year.
After my four years of my undergrad are up, I'm looking into applying for admission into an MBA program. If that fails, a Masters in CompSci is my 2nd choice. If for whatever reason I don't want to do graduate work anymore, I'd go look for a job.
My goal is to eventually move to either Washington, California, or Texas (Austin), get a biggish apartment/studio thing, live with my SO, and have a nice software engineering/management job.

I'm going into my 4th year of Science, studying for a joint honours degree in Pharmacology and Physiology. After that, it's probably off to Britain to study medicine.
I've already been provisionally accepted to the University of Glasgow's Medical School, but I'm going to redo the UCAS form this year in the hope that I can land one of the four year medical courses in England.

taken a few courses on it. I am a chemist ( though I wanted to be a biochemist. long story... )
Most of the people here are either college graduates, students, or highschool geeks planning to become students.

austin is a great city but probably a far cry from canada as far as climate, heh
but if you do come here, you'll get to have lunch with me, Ramo, and David Floyd to name a few ... what a strange group that would make

If I do move to Austin, I'll try to remember to set my location field to Nunavut, Canada.
