Official Names
Here we go. Hopefully this will sort it out finally. SInce all the options have both Prime and Second Function, those need not be polled. Therefore there are 2 issues, what do we name our Diplomacy/Military Official, and what do we name our Internal/Science Official. These are issue 1 and 2 respectively. All options in alphabetical order. Please vote for exactly 2 options. 2 is the number. The number of the poll is not 3, and the number of the poll is not 1. 4 is way off. The number of the poll is 2.
Options for issue 1 are: - Diplomatic Function
- External Affairs Function
- Foreign Affairs Function
- Write-in
- Cybobanana
Options for issue 2 are: - Internal Affairs Function
- State Function
- Write-in
- Cybobanana

Voted Diplomatic and State. I like State, although I'd be happy with Foreign Affairs for the other one. Not too keen on External Affairs personally, although it is functional and CyCon like, but Foreign Affairs just seems easier to write and remember, which is the most important thing logically IMHO.

Internal & External affairs functions by slight preference, but frankly, I don't really mind...

I voted Internal and External as well. It's consequential, and it's in a way better than "Foreign Affairs", as that name doesn't really fit the whole package of responsibilities.

Well... Isn't every job of the Foreign Function something that is to do with Foreign Affairs, and everything Foreign comes under his juristiction? Troops movement I suppose. Oh well... I don't mind too much.

I also voted Internal and External Functions... it implies that everything falls under one or the other (not exactly... for that to be true, they would be called Internal and non-Internal Functions ), and has that air of Cybernetic impartiality.

Ok, appears to be pretty much settled then I will update the Government with Internal and External Affairs Functions, unless this changes.
BTW: Should the terms be the usual I, II, III, IV, V etc. or should we go with Corellion's sig, and use binary? I like the RP of the latter, and will edit the government list, although obviously will change back if not liked.

My vote goes for the binary, of course.
