The best comical character?
I should make polls I know.. I'm such a lazy *beep*.
Mine is definitely Inspector Closeau from the pink panther series (Peter Sellers). He's hilarious and just brilliant. I'm thinking of setting up pink panther marathon and watching them all .
Who's your favourite?

The first to come to my head was Black Adder.

Actually, I have all but one, the one where, at the end of the movie Clouseau is played by Roger Moore.
I even saw the Son of the Pink Panther, with Roberto Benigne(sp).
He mad a pretty good son.

Stewie from Family Guy.
Bender from Futurama.

You know, when I read the thread title, I got this strange urge for carrots...
"What's up, doc?"
Oh, you mean movies with real actors? Then I'd have to go with Peter Sellers' Inspector Clouseau. Though Louis de Funes' "Gendarme..." series is also quite good (I forgot the character's name, maybe someone familiar with french movies can help me out ).

The french actor who played the policeman in the southern French coastal town. Sadly, I can't remember his name right now.
Oh, and Bugs Bunny can suck my carrot.

The actor's name is Louis de Funes (see my post above). I was asking for the name of the policeman he played.
Be careful, a good carrot is hard to find and rabbits are known to eat them.

Alas I don't remember the name of his best character.
But it's good that we agree on something.
