And once again:
What does all this have to do with the Netherlands? Or is this another case of "Everything not American must be the same"?

So you are all talk then? First telling me how good you are compared to us and then, when I ask you why all you can come up with is this?
Is this typical American or just typical Sloww? But I'm sure you have better things to do, like basking in your own misplaced glory...

Ooooh. Bad vibes, Hueij.
It's easy to sit on one's ass in a small nation and cast dispertions on the bigger country that foots the majority of the bill for any relief in the world.
Doesn't make the person appear rationale, but hey; you're free, to make an ass of yourself if you're so inclined.
Odd. I don't recall Americans running their mouth at you and your "Happy Birthday, Netherlands" thread.
There you go. Yet another reason.

Uh huh, this has nothing to do with your claims that started all this. Remember? The US is more free than the rest of us combined? All I asked is for you to back it up.
Odd. I don't recall any "Happy Birthday, Netherlands" thread...
And bragging about footing more of the relief bill than we do is easy. What do you expect from just 16 million people? Maybe I should ask you for the relative figures but then again I'd better not because that will show a not sopositive view of your precious US...
All talk...

Do you understand how retarded it is for you to even try comparing the Netherlands to the USA ?
You want facts spoon-fed to you? Fine.
Netherlands:
Population - 15,878,000
Land Area - 33,920 sq km (13,097 sq miles)
Coastline - Not applicable
Landforms The land is flat, averaging only 37' above sea level. Much of the land below sea level is reclaimed and protected by 1,500 miles of dikes. There are some hills in southeast
Texas:
Population - 21,779,893
Area - 268,601 sq miles
(Land) 261,914 sq. miles (Water) 6,687 sq. miles
Coastline - Shoreline 367 miles - 3,360 miles
Landforms Flat land is found along the Gulf Coastal Plain, and features bayous, bays, flats and marshes.
Central and west in the Edwards Plateau, the land rises into rolling hills. (Texas Hill Country)
Low mountains and the prairies of the High Plains are northwest. The Llano Estacado (or Staked Plain) is an isolated plateau on the border with New Mexico.
In the southwest, flat, desert conditions are broken by the Davis, Glass, Guadelupe and Santiago ranges of the Rocky Mountains.
Major rivers include the Rio Grande, Red, Colorado, Brazos, Canadian and Sabine.
Hueij. Dude. How can I say this?
The damned Netherlands wouldn't even make a decent state.

Yeah yeah yeah... I didn't know you were in a hurry. I'm aorry, but Sloww is way up on my priority list
I guess you have to be European to appreciate the Anti Nazi laws...
But to be fair, I accept this as a point for the US. You want to hear the five points for us I promised Sloww for every US point he could think of?

Sloww, this is getting tired. Either answer Hueij's questions and quit being a smartass or give up.
You ARE the one who started this afterall.

It depends on whether it is really a freedom to do something, rather than those silly 'freedom from' crap.
I give the Netherlands good marks for drug policy (though you could legalize more stuff) and gay rights policy. I wish you'd ditch your anti-Nazi legislation and provide more... economic freedom (less taxes basically).

What facts have you offered, Hueij ?
If you want to criticize, start with yourself.
I've already put enough that you SHOULD be up the next week trying to gather enough facts for rebuttal.
Not that I hold my breath, because bacically you just shittalk.

Yes, it is amazing how someone's hopeful sentiment for the future of this nation can be turned around by others.
At least I got my well-wishes in before things went sour.

Not as bad as a true flame-fest, but not as good as honest debate.
I half agree with you DD.

Screw you Hueij. All you do is talk.
Where are your facts, punk?
Here. Have some facts.
The Netherlands doesn't have jack in the way of diversity.
Ethnic groups:
Dutch 83%, other 17% (of which 9% are non-western origin mainly Turks, Moroccans, Antilleans, Surinamese and Indonesians) (1999 est.)
Religions:
Roman Catholic 31%, Protestant 21%, Muslim 4.4%, other 3.6%, unaffiliated 40% (1998)
Oh now this is VERY good.
Legal system:
civil law system incorporating French penal theory; constitution does not permit judicial review of acts of the States General; accepts compulsory ICJ jurisdiction, with reservations
Executive branch:
chief of state: Queen BEATRIX (since 30 April 1980); Heir Apparent WILLEM-ALEXANDER (born 27 April 1967), son of the monarch
head of government: Prime Minister Jan Peter BALKENENDE (since 22 July 2002) and Vice Prime Ministers Johan REMKES (since NA 2002) and Roelf DE BOER (since NA 2002)
cabinet: Council of Ministers appointed by the monarch
elections: none; the monarchy is hereditary; following Second Chamber elections, the leader of the majority party or leader of a majority coalition is usually appointed prime minister by the monarch; vice prime ministers appointed by the monarch
note: there is also a Council of State composed of the monarch, heir apparent, and councilors that provides consultations to the prime minister on legislative and administrative policy
In other words, your country is run by an old bat in an archaic system.
Damn Hueij. I was ALL wrong.
"Progressive" laws regarding drug use and sex isn't all there is to the show.
Go get some facts or STF up.

Well, since Sloww did it again (bringing totally irrelevent facts into the discussion), I'll add this:
IF: Geographical size is proportional to "Freedoms"
THEN: Texas has more "Freedoms" than the Netherlands
THEN: France has more "Freedoms" than Texas
THEN: Russia, China, and Canada individually have more "Freedoms" than the United States
COROLLARY: Size DOES matter...

Correction: If the words "Mingapulco," "Rahlcatraz," or, "See you in a week " are on the certificate, I don't want it.
A pretty ribbon will suffice.
