All of a sudden, I'm engaged
I'm still in shock about this somewhat. It's all come so quickly.
Backstory:
Almost exactly a year ago, I went and saw the Powerpuff Girls movie when it was released to theaters. Seeing it managed to reignite my interest in the show. Being bored one night, I stumbled upon a PPG website with forums. I joined. In the course of events, I worked my way into the community there, where I met someone about my age, with similar musical tastes to mine. We started chatting and hit it off. When I won Flogging Molly tickets in March, she managed to raise money to come up here to see me and go to the concert. We hit it off even more. Come summertime, I decided to head down to SD to see her and look for a job there. That didn't work out, but I still spent a month with her, enjoying it all.
Last night, something came over me. I was writing a poem, and I just felt like asking this. I figured it would be a good idea to propose where we first met. So I did.
http://forums.ppgworld.com/forum/sho...e=3#post277531
And she said yes. I am so very happy right now, but it still hasn't sunk in. I don't think it's going to for a long time. She's just as stunned as I am.
I
am
engaged
<-- sums up my feelings perfectly

Is that link missing a 0, or is there intentionally 3 posts per page?

I just stuck that in there so the relevant part of the thread would show up.
And I'll be 20 in a couple of months.

I don't know how many times I've read those names but I've only just figured that out. Potassium == K; of course.

Whoaw. Now that was definetily a nerdy way to ask...
Which is completely irrelevant, afterwards. Congratulations, for founding an ideal person for you to commit into.

An online engagement? Gee, it sure is year 2003 now. Well, what should I say? Hmm... yes, indeed quite special, taking into account it was done on PPGWorld.com's fora, but in controversy some have engaged themselves via Quake, so it can't be a that unique case.
/me ponders the case.
Well, well... what else can I say than the famous Vulcan expression?
Live long and prosper.
