Star Trek: Enterprise
Because I don´t have access to fancy scifi channels I had to wait until they show it on German tv stations. Now since the first handful episodes were shown I´m positively surprised. IMO it is (while of course there are some weaknesses) muuuch better than Voyager. Especially the early seasons of Voyager were mainly boring, now Enterprize is quite entertaining from the start. Interesting how the Humans looks at the Vulcans...
How much seasons are their now in the US? And are the newest episodes good as well, even better?

Season 1 and 2 were very bland. There were a few nice eps, but there were several real stinkers. Whatever you do, stay away from "A night in sickbay"!
But the show is slowly getting better. The upcoming season 3 promises to shake things up and should be interesting.

I think these things slowly pick up momentum...being familiar with the crew helps too...

You´ll like it

It's a bit shit, sorry. Series three isn't really any better. Is there a law about alternating star trek series being crap?
THG -Ok, gets better
Voyager- tripe
DS9- Ok, gets better
Enterprise- guff
I predict a pattern.

Hm, I think compared to Voyager it is good. To me, Voyager is the worst of all ST series.

I thought that the first couple of episodes were awesome but then they started to get boring.
Plus all those gray sets really get old...

Some of the episodes are quite good, but many are rather boring.
The music ("it's been a long way...") is nothing but blasphemy! Whoever wrote that song should be executed by beating a wookie in chess

Yes, that song really gets on my tits. They could have had something like what they have to the other Star Trek programs...but not that monstrosity...

Enterprise is alright, not as good as TNG (season 3-6) or DS9 (also seasons 3-6) though. Voyager was very uneven, but I liked many episodes after 7of9 replaced Kes. TOS had some really good episodes, but.. a bit dated TAS is crap.

That would be Rod Stewart It's not he who performs it in the ent intro though.

I liked all of them except for TOS. Each series had its good and bad episodes.. but I think that the plot of DS9 was the most interesting.

When I was a very small kid I thought his name was Bobbo Persson. A weird habit I had at that time was that anytime I dug out something really nasty from my nose I used to name it Bobbo Persson too. I still haven't figured out where I got this idea from, maybe somehow I was aware of this song on a subconscious level

Interesting,
I really like the Song.
It is not like the usual Themes from the other Star Trek Series,
but aside from the Theme to DS9 I think it´s the best Star Trek Theme ever
as for the Series:
I like it. And as everything else we get to see on German TV are Repetitions from old Episodes it is nice to see something you haven´t already seen x Times (with x being >= 1 )

I watched Star Trek on German tv last year. You should definitely get it in English. I mean, seriously: "Du bist ein Womulan"???

'cept DS9 came well before Voyager, so now your pattern just shows all of it getting progressively worse. This is obviously incorrect since nothing can be worse than Voyager was

I actually like Enterprise, except for the junk about the "War of the Time Line" or whatever it is. They're missing a golden opportunity to develop a compelling plot about the events leading up to the formation of the Federation. If they could work on that they wouldn't need the "Time War".
