I believe recently did a survey of Frenchmen. When asked who were the rudest people in the world, a majority went with Parisians.

This is not suprirsing. Parisians aren't popular in the other regions of France. They have the reputation of being arrogant, know-it-all, and to feel "like in conquered territory" when in other parts of France (i.e ignorant and not willing to learn about the local uses). This is largely a prejucide, but there is truth in it.

Yeah, I gotta agree with the anti-Parisiens. Those people were really about as warm and welcoming as a bad case of syphilis.
