Absolutely, everyone knows there's no other way to drink Corona.
I even added a tad bit of lemon to make it more yum.

I'm kinda spoiled living in Calgary for water, all of our water is fresh glacial runoff stuff and therefore free from almost any pollutants.
Some of the local beers are exceptional, but my favorite is from Ontario.

Proving, once again, Ontario rules all with an iron fist. And Toronto rules Ontario. All hail the Empire of Toronto!

Pollution is more predominant by people dumping **** into the waters.
Rain and snow also have some, but not nearly to the extent of waste dumping.

I just re-read LTEC's post, and I found some more funny things in it:

Of course, because Mexican health/safety regulations are notoriously more stringent than American/Canadian ones.
and her comments (from a Mexican/American, no less) about how "arrogant bastard ale" may be too strong for me. Corona is too light (what is it, 4%?) which is why I'd never buy it.
The lightest stuff I usually drink is Sleeman's Honey Brown Lager, which is ~5.5-6%, and that **** is good.

It's another word for nipples, usually used in reference to animal nipples.

I didn't buy the Coronas and I don't think I need the Mexican varieties.
"Mexico" is just not an exotic place to warrant import prices. In fact, "Mexico" has all kinds of dirty connotations.

An American is bashing Canadian mainstream beer.
Molson and Labatt both suck, as does Budweiser, etc. There's nothing new here.

Hmm if they were any good they would travel, at least to the huge neighbor to the south.

Big Rock is a local microbrew, Sleeman's is from Guelph Ontario and is basically just over a decade old (the company itself dates back to the 1800s, as do the recipes, but it was only brought back to life 10+ years ago), and Alexander Keith's is from Nova Scotia.
They're hardly big name beers, although Sleeman's is growing fast.
I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't exported to the US, because the US has shown a considerably horrible taste for beer.
Real drinkers in Canada know what they are.

Here in the US even in my local supermarket their is a great collection of poor beers and great beers all at my reach, and I am talking a very common supermarket. if people in the US still drink crap it is becuase they dirnk to get drunk and not to enjoy the beer itself.

Just got back from Playa de Carmen (rather Akumal) yesterday!!! Suks to be home... Glad to see everyone back here is still discussing the important issues!
When I was down there I had about 2 Coronas (drank mostly Sol and Tequila)
Mexico has several companies (incl. Coca-Cola) down there that specialize in purifying and bottling water. In the US and in Mexico one of the biggest profiders of purifide water are supsideraries of brewers... (sorry my spelling is awful, I am drinking)...
I would not worry about the water beer is made with, for it is the purest of all waters... Also, the alcohol in beer will not kill the bactaria that is in beer...
Bottles are distilled as well, not just washed...
Geesh... Why would anyone think that Mexico wouldn't know how to make alcohol safe for consumption
