That is usually true... You know something to be the case, but have never proved it.. and then one of the experts shows you an unbelievable chart that proves what you have felt to be the case all along...

The true question is,
Is this ACN issues, that slow has documented, what is pimping those forest cities, or is that something else?

Probably just the ACN issue and the times with bad terrain for the starting square stuck in your mind. Unless it's every time of course...........I don't know, I haven't played much 2x prod, so I don't see many cities founded on bad terrain.

I should try a test with a city on silk using another forest and a city starting on forest using a roaded silk. and verify that both aren't an acn problem and see if there's a difference.

the key would be to build on grass, and once you have celebrated your cities, convert the square to forest

Good to hear. I'm going to keep an eye on those types of situations this weekend and see if there are ways to take advantage of what we now know.

Yeah... just building an extra city moves the problem to another city... but good for clearing a productive city.

Yes, I was much more congizant of it this weekend. I found myself founded new cities every few turns while celebrating. It made things easier.
