What version do you play?
As part of ongoing efforts to improve AU, it would be helpful to know who is playing what (I'm PTW, btw).
I'm assuming everybody is up-to-date on the respective patches... let me know if not.
Thanks.

I haven't played Civ-Mac since PTW came out. PTW play is so much better (e.g., AI tactics).

PtW
I had a great game going in Civ III when I got PtW, but never went back to finish it. Same will probably happen to a PtW game when I get C3C.

I'm sure I won't play PtW again once C3C comes out, unless there is something drastically wrong with it. Same pattern with all my game playing, I'll play a game religiously and non-stop, and when a new version/game comes out, the old disc never enters my drive again.
And that folks, is how they make their money.

Unfortunately I don't think you can. I believe there are only five non-U.S. 1.21f patches out there and China isn't one of them. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.
BTW, even though I polled this early on I didn't post. Like most everyone else I have PTW with the latest patch, but fully intend on getting Conquests as soon as it comes out (and not wait like I did with PTW...just wasn't playing much Civ at the time).

I play PTW for an interesting reason.
For a Winter Solstice gift, the loved ones gave me a copy of PTW. I had been playing CTP and Civ2 and they thought they had found a new version. Well, they had, but it was only the expansion pack. I had to quietly go out and buy Civ3 (which was the gold edition or whatever they called it) so that I could use the gift I had been given. I carefully didn't tell them that the software I bought had been more expensive than the expansion pack I had been given.
So, I started my Civ3 as PTW. Given what I have seen, I am glad I did so. I think Civ3 by itself would have been a slight disappointment. As it is, it is a terribly wonderful addiction. (Oh, and I am patched up to latest levels.)
Excuse me, I have some pesky Aztecs to deal with and I have just convinced the Spaniards to help....

I never bought PTW, and may not ever, if Conquests includes all the non-multiplay features.
