How do you delete a saved game?
I have a bunch of partially begun games (as I am just learning to play), and I really don't want to return to them. But I can't find anything that tells me how to "delete" unwanted saved games.
Please advise.

You open some file exploring utility (like windows explorer), find the civ 2 directory, and delete the .sav files of the games you wish to delete. If you have scenarios in other sub-directories, those saves might be under the scenario directory.

If you are driving Civ2 Multiplayer, ToT or CtP all of which are real Windows applications (rather than the SP variants that are 16 bit games in a fairly scrappy 32 bit wrapper) you can open the 'Load Game' window and right click on any unwanted save games - delete is one of the options available from the right click menu ...

Highlight the save and then press delete on your keyboard. The saves goes to your recycle bin, and you could still retrive it, or you could just empty the bin to eliminate it permenatly.
