Small Question to our Sailor Comrades
Why did you guys decide to call yourselves "Peace"? Why not stick with "Pirates?".

Pirates have a bad image. Yes we do like L3wting, xenorum, the odd wee tiff. But we are democratic and we like seafood.
Peace is so much more applealing don't you think.

Alright I had been half sleeping again and I believe I said something to praise peace but I forgot what I said now. Anyway, PEACE is good! We love PEACE!

I'm sure the lasses at the local pubs will be disappointed when they hear that the peace are coming around to visit. The name peace doesn't have quite the flair and sense of adventure that the name Pirates inspires.

His name is Baretta and he is a "Blue Eyed" Cockatoo, apparently a different breed from the Sulfur Crested ones, but not very different looking it seems (although Baretta gets rather annoyed if improperly identified; "Awwkkk!!, just look at the eye ring, ya landlubber, . . . , Awwwkkk!!").
If you're interested, check out this site.

Well the yellow head plumage isn't as prominent as the Sulphur crested version. And they live for quite a long time those feisty Cockatoos.

Ahh so the difference is the sulfur crested one has black eyes and the top punk feather thingy is all yellow. While the blue eyed cockatoo has a blue ring around it's eyes and only a partial streak in it's feather thingy on it's head.

Of course, we maties, is well known in our local taverns and ale houses, so no problem there Arrh.
'I'll have a piece of that' is a well heard cry.
When we 'visits' other ports - for peaceful purposes of course - the lassies flock to us. Quite often the chat up line spoken to the parrot/cockatoo is :-
Nice Peace ye've got there.
