Duty. Destiny. Greatness.
[Scene on the steps of the Temple in Imperialis]
"Come round, come round! Today the education of the people must continue!"
"For today, as a humble servant of our ancestors, I have come to tell of destiny, of duty, and of Greatness!"
"Long ago, thousands of years in the past, our ancestors were the rulers of the world, masters of their destiny, wise in a way we cannot comprehend in these dark days. Tales are even told that they had the knowledge to fly!"
"But that is not what I am here to speak of! Today I want to speak of how our mighty ancestors fell, of how we came down from upon high and now dwell as we do today!"
"I speak of the barbarian tribes that surround the Imperium. For it was the nomads on our world, the people that chose to not live with our ancestors. We don't know how they brought our ancestors down, but we know that it was them that pillaged our fields, destroyed our roads and made war upon us. And they continue to make war upon us."
"Fear not though! For at the time of the Fall, it was prophesied that we would again rise up to become powerful, that we would shake off the barbarian Greeks, Romans and Americans! It is our destiny."
"To achieve that shining goal, our destiny, work must be done! We have the potential fullfill that destiny, but we must sieze it and use it to its utmost! So go to work each day, do your best, blood and sweat are our greatest weapons against the barbarians. Duty, leads to Destiny."
"And when we reach that destiny of ours, and rest assured, we will, Greatness awaits us there. Greatness beyond our wildest hopes and dreams! And once we have fullfilled our destiny, and achieved Greatness once again, finally, finally our ancestors may rest in peace."
"Prepare the way! For our path leads us on!"
Duty. Destiny. Greatness.

Stirring words, even diluted by the passage of time.
We just need to build until we are mighty, and then hold true to our maxim: Might makes right.
