'Tiss the Season
In light of the little joyous killfest started by GoW, I thought I'd share a little poem we wrote to get in the "spirit" of the season.
Twas the night before Armageddon, and all through the plains
Every crusader and every noble were rallying for Spain.
The people were all dressed in armor, with pikes close at hand
When I and Dejon, from horseback, proudly surveyed the land.
When there from the east, there rose a battle cry
We watched as a band of Riders had seemingly fallen from the sky.
So we took to Watch Mountain, abandoning our beds.
And shouted insults at the fools, about the size of their heads.
When there on the west, we caught a terrible sight
Two Arabian ships, with troops, in the middle of the night.
So we ran to the shoreline, we ran to the sea.
We wanted to watch as the Nina sunk them, with glee.
And there in the jungle, working night and day
Two Arabian workers trying to clear it away.
We readied our troops, and readied our 'Pults.
So we could properly welcome the dolts.
In all of Spain, not a single city rests.
All working on soldiers for this mighty test.
So come Glory of Treachery, come Neu Demoliars
We relish our chance to throw your carcases to the fires!

Naval warfare?!? There was a shoving match between a few boats in the GS/Vox conflict... but we didn't know our galleys could SINK! Maybe we should rethink this whole 'boat' thing... or learn to swim.
Nice poem BTW (but where are the screenshots? )

GoW's riders give me UO flashbacks... they look like those black wizard hats and tunics plate mages.
Thanks for the screenies.

So, MPPs don't really count anymore, do they?
Well! Just for that, I shall personally tweak the nose of every Rider in range!
And see if I don't!

Did you know we have been breeding a type of Warsquid, Esteemed Ghengis, that jumps onto its enemy's face and blocks its sight and suffocates it? At the very least, you'll get a mouth full of Squid ink. However, right now, production is hurting a little...it turns out that ejecting so much ink causes their fertility rate to drop.
EDIT: Absent-minded error--fixed "Señor Calamari" to "Esteemed Ghengis".

Ugggg... Yeah, that is a problem. Luckily, we also have catapulted exploding squid.
Besides, the Pope has given us soldiers his Papal Banner, and blessed our use of his secret weapon...
(All kneel!)
Yes! I hold on high...
THE HOLY HAND GRENADE!!!!

Are you talking about this PBEM Democracy Game or the PBEM Demo Game 2? I thought we were talking about the Roleplay team not the Monty Python team.
