Is the hive making informed decisions.
I've gone to great efforts to make sure everyone is well informed. I even try and put summaries up to help people that are too busy to read all the negotiation thread.
However, instead I see people talking about conquoring the continent we're on. When we're alone on our continent.
Then others talking about how we need to start wars early when it'll be roughly 40 turns before we can even send our first unit to an enemy base.
Here's a guideline so you can actually make helpful comments and good decisions. Read the first post in each thread carefully. The first post is the most important not the least important. Actually look at the maps that appear in the turn update thread. Realise we're dealing with smart human players rather than AI.

Wooo ... "I make stupid decisions based on the last post in a thread." Now whoever makes that choice IS stupid. Hint: Don't choose that choice.

I've been getting the impression people just look at the most recent post and ignore the first post because it isn't as recent. Or they see the first post, decide it's too long and think they can get the gist of it by reading the shorter comments.

Please dont misunderstand me Kody. The 'early' game is usually marked by low-tech weapons and ends generally with the restriction lifting techs. It is during this time that the scales are even with the builder types and the aggressive/expansionist factions are in their element. I think forty turns would still easily qualify as 'early'.
