I have a diplomacy question. When I look at the foreign advisor screen I notice that one person is gracious, one person is polite, and one person is annoyed (though I can't imagine why). Is it possible to set my attitude towards each player or is it done automatically through game events? If it's done automatically then the annoyed and polite people should be reversed . . . .

It's automatic. What the game thinks is diplomacy and what you think is diplomacy aren't the same!

Firaxis said it would be possible to change the attide manually but I still have to find out how. I guess the autopilot changes when entering territory and such, perhaps even the amount of trade etc....

Cerberus, what's you non-AOL e-mail address? I sent you an e-mail but AOL says it's not accepting messages from my server anymore

I don't have a non-AOL address. If the problem persists it is probably that AOL think your server is a source of spam!

Yes, that's exactly what the return message said. I read that many Korean servers are being hacked by spammers. It's very unfortunate that this country puts technological advancement before safety or security.

Didn't Korea have one of the slowest internet too? This info could be dated though but I think I read something like that.

Well, I am receiving emails from Anatolia again. But nothing from Alva yet. So much for the Belgian internet!

It seems fast enough to me. Korea has one of the highest percentage of broadband-wired households in the world. Lots of people in a small area makes it cheap and easy.

Could have Thailand too (they do work alot with satelites).
I think Begium is just behind the scandinavian countries on Broadband for the very same reason.
We lead the world in highest density of rail, road, etc networks, well begium basically is one big city with a few rural parts.

The UK doesn't lead in broadband connections - now there's a surprise . 512 kbps unless you have cable and over half the population can't get cable because the companies are virtually bankrupt.

Am I holding things up? I was quite busy the last few days, so I might have missed a save.

I have not had a save for a few days so the turn may well be with Alva.
Edit: The last turn I played (and sent) was 10BC.
