the site said I needed to install 2 things to be able to play... some Gator Corporation thing and some Shockwave thing. Maybe it's the shockwave that I need, but oh well, it's not that important to me.

Yes you need Shockwave. It's harmless.
Gator would be a bad thing to download, though.
/edit: It didn't ask me to download Gator. That's come from somewhere else Sava, not that website. Check you system for STD's.
