HYperthread issues?
I upgraded my system not too long ago with an Intel 2.4Ghz P4 with hyper threading. I just tried to fire up CTP2 and it crashes on launch. Tried reloading it and nothing helped out.

Does anyone know if CTP has issues with Multiple CPUs or on a Hyper thread CPU?

Thanks

Joe

nope sorry not a clue on this one, but it doesn't sound too promising
Do you have the same problem with any of your other games/software?

Hyperthreading? Probably not. Multiple CPUs? Possibly. Programs using some Assembly language may get confused by multi-parallel processors. Same goes for some instruction sets in other languages. Is it possible for you to disable a CPU?

I've got hyperthreading on my computer and CTP2 runs smoothly, so I can back up Vince278, in saying that hyperthreading is not the issue.

I had a thought.. Are you using Windows XP? I heard it had enhanced multiprocessor support. (I'm a Win Me user currently)
