Question on modding unitrules and saved games.
Hi all.
I'm a newbie when it comes with changing the rules file that come with this great game.

Question.
If you mod the unitrules.xml and change some values to some units, when you load up RoN and play a saved game will these new (changed) rules affect the saved game or will it still play with the rules that were in effect when the game was saved.

Its just that if this was so it would save alot of time.

good question but i 'd think u need to run the replay with the modded xml

I think you have to start a new game before the new rules take effect.

Thanks for the reply.

Havnt found out myself either way, been to busy with university and having the flu. I will post once I find out either way.

Its just that I would like to change the nuclear weapons in order to reflect just how powerful they really are as compared to the other units in the game.
Especially the Nuclear ICBM compared to the nuclear missle while maintaing the balance in terms of building time and cost etc.

Any hints or suggestions on this issue would go a long way.
