If its the only way to get there maps, then we must. The sooner we know anything about where they are the better. We will be making a small sacrifice on our behalf, but so will they and we need to accept that, because I doubt they will give up there territory maps without us giving up ours.

Yes, I'm more interested in seeing their map, than I am about loosing our map. Of course we should probably swop maps in-game too, then we can see what all their bases are building etc. We could learn something.

But remember, we are not very strong yet, but the drones donīt know it. We had that discussion some days ago, and GooglieGod pointed out that they might fear us for what they donīt know about us...
Showing our maps will most surely make them feel relieved, as we are not able to combat them yet. Perhaps they will then decide to betray us, to make use of our current weakness?
Please consider that. Of course we have some kind of pact, and I think of their leaders as honorable players. But who knows? And they have more extremist powers within their ranks...

We don't need to swap maps to check what their bases are building.
We just need someone to be the foreign intelligence analyst to have a look at the F4 screen.

Rules of the game defined by Googlie states that when you probe when under a true treaty or pact you need to tell them that you probed and what you took.
