Apolyton Camping Trip
The thread says it all...the idea just came to me for some odd reason, and I don't even know that I could do it...but still, if there's enough interest, it might be fun...

Too many geeks who can't live without a hi-speed net connection.
Not to mention those who can't live with a large, hairy forest spider crawling down their back. Or whatever.

hey if it's in the southwest- I'm game.
I go camping a few times a year. Though I should mention that my version of camping has me sleeping in the back of my pickup truck (with camper) on an air matress . Hey I had enough sleeping on the ground in the boy scouts. It's too difficult for me to fall asleep now days in such an uncomfortable position.

I'd do it if we had it some where on the west coast. Heck, all the good national parks are out here any way.
I haven't gone camping in over a year now. I used to be really in to camping and I have a ton of killer gear just wasting away in my closet too.

I'd consider going somewhere in the US/Canada for it, if it was planned far enough in advance.

How about we go to the Grand Canyon? If not there then Yellow Stone or Yosemite would be good choices.

Why don't you boys come up here to the North Woods and we can do some Walleye fishing. Fried walleye is YUMMY! Just bring LOTS of bug repelant (mosquitoes). I bet David would be overwelmed by the trees and the hummidity.

Everybody should come up to montana. Stay west of Bozeman and the landscape is quite nice, lots of mountains and lakes and such.

Plus the drinking age is 18, small amounts of pots are akin to speeding tickets, and I'm here.

One of my ex-girlfriends lives up there and I went a good four or five times to see her after she moved there. Montana really is pretty country.

Somebody should book the Banff Springs Hotel's conference room (note: 5-6 year waiting list), and we can do LAN gaming in there, then go frollick nude in the Canadian Rockies.

Camping is fun and cheap.
Also a little birdie told me that Ming was once a camping man when he went to SCA meetings.
