Then why use historical civ's at all? Just make up fictional Civ's and cive them random traits like in GAL CIV. To me basing the game on history is one of its most appealing features.

Being based on history is like a docudrama. It is based upon, it is not a true reflection of. It will stray, it will make up. A simulator, now then you need to be accurate.

agreed. But I believe that the Romans possessing the Industrial trait to be one of those times that needs accuracy. Go ahead and include some other trait for them; just about any other applies....but Rome should be industrious!

well if only three traits where allowed , or when traits changed with era's , .....
the romans had different era's when it comes to the civ traits , ....
