C3C: Stealth attack ability and Guerrilas
Has anybody heard about new Stealth attack ability that will be added in C3C.
As far as I have heard, it's planned to be added to and Ninjas (in Japanise scenario) and Submarines.
It gives you an option to attack some specific unit in enemy stack.
Doesn't this look like perfect ability for Guerrilas?

Maybe not for Guerillas, but it does give me an idea for a Sniper unit.
1/1/1 with a bombard strength of 6, stealth attack, bombard range of 3, rate of fire 4, lethal bombardment on land, maybe invisible and can see invisible, cost 100. I know there's no really good target for a sniper except in Regicide games, especially considering the scale that one unit represents, but it still might be fun to play around with. Painstakingly move him into place to take that one, hopefully fatal, shot. Any thoughts?

You take his velvet Elvis and his toothbrush and his penis pump and that all goes up for auction with the burden of proof on you because you forgot to carry the 1. I think it will be given to subs (at least in the WWII pacific scenario) as well. That makes sense to me.
That sniper unit...range of 3 tiles That's one helluva rifle, soldier!

I don't think a sniper should have sush high range. If you going to make it bombard than make it at most a range 2, but, range 1 is more like it.
Oh, and regarding target and scale, think of how amny snipers you fit in one unit You could snipe out an entire army

It would be nice for Regicide games with the King units with 1 hp. However, it should be 0/0/1 and have range 1.

Sniper is a cool idea.
I'm not sure the Guerilla is appropriate for it, I will probably be adding an assasin or Special Agent unit to the normal game to take advantage of this ability.

Well, in normal game, there are no Kings, so I don's see any point of sniper division taking out group of enemy infantry.
So, Guerrilas still seam more appropriate.

Thinking about it the units that would really benefit from this ability to select what they attack are the bombardment units, artillery and aircraft, assuming the editor will allow that. Being able to select which units in a stack you bombard so you can take out the highest value or most dangerous enemy unit would be a crucial advantage.

I just hope the AI is smart enough to use this new tactic, with Guerrillas.
For the Subs, this will be very interesting, as now there will be no way, to give our transports any defense within a stack. It'll add some flavor to Naval Warfare.

The only problem I see with this on land units is that if they attack a city, it could reveal all of the units in the city.
EDIT: Just realized this could actually be quite useful for a "spy" unit.

Looks very cool.
Good to see some more depth being added in.
But i have to second the concern of the AI's use of such traits.
