Gives out quite a bit of info. I am definately looking forward to Conquests.
Hope they don't pull a PTW and leave me beat up in an alley with my wallet taken hoping for a patch.

Talking about the WWII Pacific campaign, it mentioned:

Aircraft re-basing ranges are much reduced here and you won't even be able to get your West Coast planes to the islands of the Pacific without using a carrier as an intermediary
|
YAY! We can now limit rebasing range.

Epidemics, though not certain for the main game, is stil a big YESSS factor for me . Also, I love the fact that you'll be able to set some terrains as completely impassable!!! All in all, the more info I'm hearing, the better I like it !!! Trip also was kind enough to point out that there is a good chance that features from the scenarios will almost certainly be available in the editor for the main game-which is also excellent news!!
Yours,

You can already set some terrains as completely impassable.
I just hope we can really do all of this stuff in the editor *drools*

More resources. New specialists. An AI that can airlift workers and use cruise missiles from ships. This looks more and more like how civ3 always should have been.
As long as they don't mess up the copy protection system and don't have to release the first patch within a week of it going on sale.

I'm not complaining about unlimited-range rebasing - I'm just happy we have the ability in the editor to limit it. There are so many different ways this could be used.

Lots of new stuff, but I'm really hoping the editor has been expanding a lot.

What will be interesting is the WWII Pacific Theater scenario. If I am understanding it correctly, the Japanese attackers move first, then it becomes your turn. The first few times, I am certain it will quite a different experience to sit on your hands as you watch units get (massively?) destroyed before your eyes.
Overall, the more I read about C3C, the more I like what I read. Hopefully, Hype=Performance

I remember the WWII Pacific scenario that was in Civ2 had the Japanese starting first. When I played it as someone other than the Japanese, I usually started it up and then did something else for about fifteen minutes, as that was about how long it would take for the visible parts of the AI's turn to end

I assume the Japanese move in the pacific ww2 will start with the Bombing of Pearl Harbor by their carriers, with lots of Hawaiis ships being destroyed.
I hope there will be scenario settings, like some civs not allowing diplomacy with others, only for trading perhaps.
It would be nice to recreate historic scenarios with more realism, certain countires declaring war at certain times etc.

It'll be great to play Civ 3 in different time-scales, where turns are a week rather than years. Er, this is what I'm assuming will happen.

From what I have heard, all sides of the scenarios will be playable.
