I've also seen:
*International Community Comes Doorknocking
*[Nation Name] Looks to the Stars
*One Wife Never Enough, Say Polygamists
*Get Efficient, Private Sector Tells Nature
*Traffic Cops Needed On Internatonal Superhighway
I think that's the lot so far.

Has anybody submitted one yet?
Apparantly 650 were submitted in the first week.

I tried to submit one last night. I had it all written up and everything. Then I clicked the Submit button, and apparently I hadn't filled in a field correctly. I pressed Back, but it erased my entire issue in the process!

Ah, yes; missed that the first time around...
IIRC the blurb says NS will send you a telegram if it's accepted, noting about what will happen if it is not. Unless they have sent a telegram saying no then I'd give it a few weeks before assuming it has been rejected, Azazel.
I submitted nearly two wweeks ago, but have had no response yet, and due to the volume of issues likely to be submitted I am not surprised.

I really love the new issues
I got the Polygamists one and a few others... in addition to one old issue. They really breath new life into the game.

Yes, to sliders. Also, the budget issue needs to come up in a more structured way... I saw it appear twice in a row once, and other times it doesn't come up for ages.
