From what I remember, DrSpike hates The Sims...
Btw, as a small sidenote: I have heard some rumors, the last The Sims expansion is much played at... ehmmm... what's the english word... those apartments for students only... Sounds pretty weird, since they normally only play FPS games such places...

In the US, yes.
In the UK they are more commonly called "Halls of Residence", or simply "Halls" for short.

UK boarding schools typically have dormitories, because all you do in those rooms is sleep. Universities have halls of residence because they normally contain facilities for students to study, cook etc as well.

Then it'll be more like halls of residence, since they've got their own kitchen, etc...
Anyway, let's get back to topic again

Toy Story 2 for the Playstation.
We bought a PS1 so the kids would stay off my computer. So I bought Toy Story 2 and was ostensibly checking it out to see if it was ok for my five year old. I can't stop playing.........

ADG:
No, what can I say, I'm sheltered.
The closest I have come to playing Leisure Suit Larry is SQ4.

I've played Medieval: Total War without doing the real-time battles... I just can't win them!

Keep persevering......it's such a large part of the game that missing it is not advisable.

I sadly still load up games such as:
- Destiny (crappy Civ rip-off from I-Magic)
- Conquerors AD1082 (a decent Lords of the Realm clone with a bit of RPG)
- Civ3 (spastic CTP2 rip-off with no depth)
But an oldy I still play which IS pretty good:
- Birthright: Attack of the Gorgon

Actually, what I'm most embarrased about game wise is a shocker...
I once burned the Vacation and HD music to cd, and played it

I enjoyed Birthright a lot but it won't play ball on my new system. I even bought a budget CD version to see if that helped, but no joy.

Monolith, I've had no success in playing the game. I just can't seem to figure it out! The instruction videos aren't helpful since I lack a soundcard.
