The frustration of unfinished games
I have so many good games on my hard drive. Drives me nuts that we never seem to get back to them. Some are at a tantalising stage.
The Aussie group is only playing once a week now so its difficult to get any games finished. It really sucks.
So many good games going to waste.

I just started deleting them from my hard drive. I have a few games that people showed interest in continuing, but most of our games, it's obvious who the winner is going be, so their is little interest in continuing them..
It's a drag... but better to just save the space and dump them.

I did a big dump a few months ago.
The cricket season starts soon so Hydey will disappear. That will be the time to do another dump.

Yeah I agree Horse.
Can the troops do Thursday nights?
Trev and Makeo can't, I know, but can the rest?
I'll try and do at least 9-11pm Thursdays.

I've always been too optimistic about continuing games. Despite our very very poor percentage of continued games, I have over 400 saved games in a backup folder.

Do you wipe it or is an auto wipe?
Isn't there a way to protect it from a superscratch program? (depending on the paramaters established)
If you bury it in the right folders you should be able to protect it.

There's usually a list of protected folders. If you know any of the tech heads, they'll usually be able to tell you how to get around it. (unless they think you're a dink)
Buying a dozen donuts and putting them out in their area will usually work wonders.

Due to early morning starts at work, I can never play during the week in the late evening, however there are some days when I could be available for early evening games ( finish by 10.00pm Aust EST), never Mondays though at this stage and usually not Thursdays also, maybe some consideration can be given to playing earlier in the evening and cosying up to your wives later. This may result in more enjoyment all round, although you may not want to end up with 6 children like me

Starting earlier will not help me on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday but we could get more hours in when we do play if we started earlier

I could possibly start earlier but I would be at the mercy of the Ayatollah.
One thing I've really enjoyed from time to time is short sessions. Even just an hour can be quite fun and at least it keeps the games moving, so more shorter sessions may be an option.
finbar and I have played for about an hour a couple of times and I enjoyed it immensely. Means time for other things and not a late night. Much more realistic on work days.
Just a thought.....
Trev has 6 children? Congrats man.

hmmmm...
very unusual for you not show on Fri night Horse.
Hope things ae OK.
We started a new Horseless 4 way with three cranky old b@rstards and a god
finbar was overly tired
Trev got cr@p land and got boxed in
Hydey was the usual but brightened up it seems as he went after Trev payback!
Who said we don't take reputations from previous games into account!
