Unless you're in jest, your anti-American remark is on the same level as the anti-French article.
United States has committed crimes against humanity -- but it's no more backwards or uncivilized than other nations guilty of such crimes. This would include almost all nations of the world.

I noticed it was from "FOX News". I noticed that it talked about France. I quit there.
How is it exactly that they ever got to be considered "journalist"s, anyways?

I think it's called ****-stirring journalism. It's like, say an opinion piece in the Sun or Mail claiming that homosexuality is a perversion, or that the French are a massive nation of traitors. It's done for publicity, selling copies and stimulating a reaction.
Still utter Fez though.

The one at counterglow is much more spiteful and vindictive anyway. It's probably more worthwhile checking that one out.

Since when is 'spiteful and vindictive' more worthwhile? Editorial pieces are an expression of opinion often intended to stir an emotional response. No question that this article was over the line, but not particularly unusual compared to some of the other crap in the media these days.
