Where to place the base site?
Should we go for the B3 base site or the B2 base site.
If we go for the B3 base site we get to claim our entire continent.
If we go after the B2 base site we gain turn advantage with planting our bases faster.
Also if someone dares to plant a base on our soil we can probe rape the person. Eg, set every base to building probes then send them all out and steal all their tech, maps, ECs etc.

Jamski says:
I have decided
To only talk in poetry -
Life is beautiful.
John says:
kay
Jamski says:
I will aways give
A good answer to your questions -
Their meaning is deep.
John says:
we lose a turn advantage for base 8 if we instead plant it at the B3 site
John says:
like 4 turns later
Jamski says:
In Summer expect
The turn advantange to grow.
We have a good plan
John says:
but the gains of moving a base there is low
Jamski says:
Another base can
Build more nice supply crawlers -
The gain is quite clear
John says:
so we build the base earlier
John says:
rather than later
John says:
at the B2 site
John says:
you didn't read all of the post did you
John says:
B2 and B3 are base sites
John says:
we're deciding which to plant first
Jamski says:
A tree sprouts in spring
To give us fruit in summer
The B2 site wins.
Jamski says:
The seed in the sun
That bakes it in the dry earth
Cannot grow so fast.
John says:
We'll have two formers working on the problem. In the mean time there's two monoliths
Jamski says:
The wise farmer plants
All the seeds he has to sow
BEFORE the rain comes.
John says:
by the time the hive grows there'll be more
John says:
forests around there
John says:
and we would have forested the nut
John says:
by the time the B2 base site grows there should be more forests to support that too
John says:
so we don't have a base which is suffering from base resource problems
Jamski says:
Are you telling me
Or are you asking me to
Give you my advice?
John says:
yeah
John says:
but I can't understand all your advice sometimes the way you write
Jamski says:
I have always found
That the Hive works at its best
with MANY bases
John says:
should we go for planting a new base faster
Jamski says:
If one wants cherries
One must plant a cherry tree
Before one can eat
John says:
Okay let me outline the situation.
John says:
We have the choice of planting a base in 2 turns. In terriority we already occupy
Jamski says:
The tree that is young
Must wait for many long years
Before it gives fruit
John says:
or we have the choice of planting a base in 6 or more turns in terriority on the outlying area
John says:
we build up a greater turn advantage with the faster to plant base
John says:
and other base is motivated only by the need to increase our terriority size
Jamski says:
Could it be so made
That the first base builds the pod
That builds the second?
John says:
so people will have to vendetta if they want to plant a base on our land
John says:
the B3 base site will be instead built in 12 years. Rather than 6 years.
John says:
if we build B2 first
Jamski says:
I think it is clear
That the sooner the planting
The sooner the fruit
John says:
well about 12 years not certain yet
John says:
so we build B2
Jamski says:
*nods*
Jamski says:
I belive I have
Already voted for the
base at square B2
John says:
nope you voted for B3
John says:
which is moving a colony pod to the far side of our continent so that people will need to vendetta if they decide to plant bases on our land
Jamski says:
In the dark night
It is easy to mistake
A cat for a frog.
John says:
should I post this chat to the thread.
John says:
I think I didn't explain myself very well
Jamski says:
*nods*

If you haven't noticed the names of the base sites have already been staked out. Look at the turn update.

Dear comrade Vev, I personally think that Vev enlightment center is much better than Vevavostok. For one thing, we've had too many stok's grad's and vky's and it's so trying on ones memory.

I like to pay homage to the name I've borrowed from Vevaphon, so it needs to start with "Veva...".

Turn advantage, it simply would be unwarranted to give up speed to claim the entire continent given the fact that there exists little threat from the Drones (or conceivably another faction) colonizing our continent.

The Chairman has spoken. It simply would be unwarranted to give up speed to continue fuss around about vevavevas versas vevamodias.

Yes that's the golden age of Haikus. I recommend you to read some of our Pravda issues Chaunk. You'll read lots background information there about how each event happened.
Jamski was so happy at a time (and he didn't even know why he was happy) so he started talking in haikus. Then many Hivers were affected by him and will only talk in haikus. This had went to the degree that the Hivers can't do anything normal. I wrote the one hundred and one day for him, hoping he would see some light. But he didn't stop until much later, when he was finally tired of it.
He didn't even know why he started it.
