Civ3PTW / Windows 2000 Prof.
I play Civ3 PTW and sometimes the game is part of Windows (a window of the operating system) some others I have to exit the game to do anything else.

Could someone help?
It would be usefull to (always) be able to do something else while playing.

what i do is press the windows button (the one between alt and ctrl, forgot the name). that'll bring up the taskbar and you can do other things. i've never had civ3 (or PTW) in a window though...

I second that. People shouldn't be so quick to blame the operating system!

It is well that things are working for you, but I see so many people with Win2000 post about problems getting this game or that to work and I would guess that there are fewer 2000 gamers than XP or 98.
The fact is that Win2000 never intended to support DirectX/3d and so forth. This does not mean that a given game will not work in that OS, but it does make it more problematic.
