defeating the CD check

Anyone know of a utility that will defeat the CD check on the MGE disk? The old civ2 hack doesn't work. I'm trying to rip some cds in the background while working on my scenario and that cd check is starting to piss me off.

There probably is one on warez sites, so do some search engining if you don't object to pornographic advertisement banners that are usually present.

if you put in any other civ cd (fw, cic, civ2) it will work just fine. you'll have to press enter a whole bunch as it ****s up the intro movie for some reason...but after that it plays fine.
