Saved game/out of synch
We have a 2 player game, with 3 AI players left. When my friend, (Persians) uses his bomber, (first bomber built in the game) we go OOS. We've replayed a few times, and he's used the plane at different times, all to the same result. We then both patched to 1.27, and still the same thing.
Do you think a reinstall would help, or is this saved game toast?

What is OOS? I probably won't be able to help you though, I know nothing of computers.

Actually, my partner and I have just experienced this same exact problem last weekend. Everytime my partner tries to use his bomber to perform a bombing run against the AI (who he's at war with) the game goes out of sync (OOS). After three tries, all at various times, we have decided not to use bombers for the remainder of our game - and so far, no more OOS problems. We're both patched with the latest 1.27 and both running on Windows XP Professional.
Of course, since I'm the one hosting, I could have tried building a bomber and try out a bombing run just to see if the game goes OOS for me too...but I very rarely use bombers and since we've decided not to try and fly any more bombing missions, the OOS problem hasn't reappeared.
But the bottom line is that there is a problem with the game going Out of Sync when Bombers are used in a MP LAN game.

For what it's worth, I had a similar problem with a recent 1.21 SP game where I tried to use a fighter to bomb a square. It crashed every time with a jetfighter intercept of my unit.

Multiplayer game last night.
2 hummies, 6 computers.
OOS every time a bombing run is done.
Also OOS when I ran a tank into an enemy city.
In addition I get the Babylonians asking for a right of passage every turn even though its still going on. I also get them asking to trade blank for blank. The trade table is blank and I get the option to accept the trade.
Version 1.27f.
