I'm having the same probelm- constantly this afternoon. does it happen when you browse poly? Maybe it was the hackers . It
In XP, just drag the "Send/Don't Send" dialog box where you can't see it, and nothing will happen . It works!

Those who have it crashing are all morons who do not know how to keep up on security updates.
Maybe now we've learned our lesson, huh?

I posted a thread weeks ago telling everyone with affected Windows installations to patch.
Not to mention the people who are affected are particularly stupid for disabling auto-update or not installing "critical" updates once auto-update downloads them.
Duh.
Computers require maintenance, just like cars.
You don't keep up to date on patches, you get ****ed.
You don't ever change your oil, you get ****ed.
Why is this concept so foreign to so many people?

It's really too bad that people keep finding and exploiting the backdoors in windbloze. Perhaps micosoft should stop making them.

If you have XP, it should be one of the small icons in the lower right corner of the bottom toolbar.

Yeah, and it pops up all the time (updates!)
I generally follow all the updates, but I haven't done so since I got back from vacation 3 weeks ago... and I am having the same problem as Andy-man, on my computer at home...

ya, I have virus protection, I go with the updates as often as I can (maybe not as often as Asher ) and I still got this worm. I haven't been home to try and fix it...
Just hoping that someone would have a better screen or guard from this kind of crap other than whatever XP or generic windows products use...
Thanks

Try Pc Cillin they had the cure the day this came out, same with all the latest and greatest viruses. I have been virus free for a very long time now.
But as Asher says make it a habit to get the updates.
