the only downside to random events will be not being able to order dragons into black holes, which is quite fun.

I'm almost indifferent to the mineral rich, am OK with the rest.

What I don't like about the random events, they get kind of boring after a while............
MoO1 I enjoy(d) them more.
In MoO2 they are either an annoyance or a killer...........

Yes, but I don't understand why we are voting on Minerial Rich with out a race choosen?
It would seem to me that galaxy age is picked after you know what your race is going to be?
I mean if I am a Lith, give Min Rich.

There seems to be a lot of discussion about this and I don't see that we're ever going to be able to nail this down. Why not either vote someone in to choose settings, pick three combos that are good and vote between those, or just pick a prefab race? I lean toward the latter but think the middle choice would work as well. If we get three designs for races then vote on them we'd be able to run it like a test of the ship designs.

Yes it may be best to let the an elected person pick a race. The point I raised is just to get it out there, it is not a big deal if we go with an age before we have a race.

I still think we're trying to pull from too broad a spectrum. Information overload. Why don't we try an election and have someone making some initial decisions.

The whole idea of a DG is, it is us making the choices. We decide upon. It might be different to how you normally play.........but that is what makes the fun ...........(and at least you can always find somebody to blame it on )

Just vote in the order of the decisions as they appear in the game.
