Is there a way to edit the bix file in a save?

Is there a way you can edit the bix file of a scenario and make it apply to the saved game using that scenario? In other words, can you edit the bix file and make it apply to your current game?

I tried editing the scenario bix file but it didnt apply to my saved game (which is using that scenario)

I dont think its possible for 'regular' players. It's designed that way to prevent cheating in MP games, but perhaps someone like Gramphos could do it.
