OFFICIAL: Discussion Policy Change
You may have noticed the creation of the new departmental office threads, many more will be coming within the following week.
Those threads are intended for OFFICIAL DISCUSSION ONLY. Which means NO SPAM.
Just to make it clear, for those who have not read the constitution. The Departmental threads are for the discussion of in-game policy relating to the portfolios of a particular department.
The portfolios of the Departments are as follows:
Department of Development
-overall in-game policy (here you can discuss anything related to our in-game actions that is under the jurisdiction of the other Departments)
Department of Infrastructure
-build queues
-terraforming
-worker placement
Department of Expansion
-base placement
-unit design
-exploration
Department of Manufacturing
-rushbuilds
-crawler placement
Department of Science
-research
Department of Social Engineering
-social engineering settings
Now there will be other official non-departmental threads. Theses include the CCC, People's Congress, and Supreme Peoples Court. These threads will be used only by their respective members unless noted otherwise. They are for policy debate and posting of voting results by the governing bodies. This means do not post in these threads unless you are a member of the CCC, People's Congress, or Supreme People's Court. Posts in these threads may be welcomed only by invitation.
The policy of the official CMC thread will be decided by the Marshal.
In the mean time if anyone has any questions or comments please feel free to add them.
