Map woes.
I am planning a scenario based on a future war between the U.S. and China. I was planning on using the stock Pacific.mp that comes with the game. The more I look at it though, the more unsatisfied I am with it. I was wondering if there was any way to cut a part of another map out and paste it into another map. I have Mapedit and Maputility. These are somewhat limited in their abilities though.

You might want to check out the pacific section in the map database at my civ2 website: http://gene.wins.uva.nl/~jvermeir/ci...ps/pacific.htm
I recommend the maps by Jorrit Vermeiren (me) and Harlan Thompson. The former might not be what you have in mind.
