What would your perferct working pattern be?
Here's Mine, Yes it comes to 35 hours, which isnt standard in the UK, but hell, i'm just lazy.
Monday - Friday
8:30 - 4pm - 30 Minute Break.
Would be perfect, have all the evening to myself, and only a 7.5 hour stretch at the office each day.
a 37.5 Varient would simply see a late 6:30pm finish on a Monday.
Post your perfect (Realistic) pattern

This pattern tiles seamlessly, though some may argue it isn't perfect.

Some Union Busting politicians are trying to do away with the 40 hour work week in America by getting rid of overtime. But that's what happens when people elect corporate *******s to the highest offices.

Serious oversimplification.
But in all seriousness, 11-7 would be nice. It's better than my usual 8:45-4:00/6:00-1:30am this summer.
Alva brings up a good point in that many businesses that have houry-wage employees are beginning to schedule for 35-37.5 hours a week in order to cushion against paying overtime. I've seen a creep in recent years from 40 hours down to 35. It's cheaper to hire a part-timer to cover the extra hours.

I would like 8-hour days with an hour lunch break, 4 times a week.
32 hours work total, 3 day weekend. Nice.

Monday through Friday sit on my ass. Then on the weekend I'd sit on my ass some more.
